"Kelly Soup"

a reserved soul with passion in health and wellness

INFJ   -   Mother   -   Empath

Background

Kelly, a mother of two children aged 13 and 10, is a truly blessed soul. Her life is rich with experiences of sickness and hardships, from which she learns and grows. She embraces life challenges, integrating every lessons into her practice, achieving a mindful and holistic approach to life.

Practicing acupuncture and traditional chinese medicine is not just a job. It’s her passion and the lifestyle she lives. She practices what she preaches.

Kelly was born with biliary atresia, leading to lifelong liver cirrhosis and cholangitis. She’s living with a ticking timed-bomb inside her. In high school throughout to university, she's battled through foggy brain, itchiness, extreme fatigue, depression, constipation, insomnia, digestive issues, weight gain, sudden weight loss, extreme dryness, eczema, and many more. Gradually, through her exploration into holistic and unconventional knowledge, she stood strong as though her life was perfect, as if everything were normal. She manages to live a life free of symptoms despite having serious liver problems. She’s been receiving care from UHN Liver Clinic since 2003 but has never been on medications. Her cholangitis puts her on a high risk of cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, which has once been located but dissipated. Chronic inflammation damages the cells and change polarity of cells, leading to mutations, which often turn into cancer under stress. From which, Kelly learns how to live in harmony with internal chronic inflammation.

Kelly is a registered acupuncturist and registered traditional chinese medicine practitioner (chinese medicine herbalist), and a certified hypnotherapist. Kelly practices yoga, aerial yoga, meditation, chakra self healing, and vibrational frequency healing. Kelly is inspired by a wide range of new age and spiritual sanctuary.

It’s all about energy healing and mindfulness.

Connecting the dots and developing her own theory to Acupuncture and Energy Healing

Chinese medicine theory is only a theory. The application of such theory goes beyond the books. Chinese medicine can provide you insights on connecting the dots on how and why you're experiencing what you're experiencing. Cause-and-effect can be understood holistically from the cyclical nature of change and transformation in the universe to microscopic level in the human body.

Kelly believes that holistic health begins with understanding the deep-seated connection between the mind, body, and soul (mental health). Our thoughts, emotions, physical health, lifestyle, and spiritual well-being are not isolated elements; they are deeply intertwined, each influencing and being influenced by the others. These forms of energy are connected.

Common Questions:

Why Acupuncture and TCM?

I really don’t know where to begin. My grandfather did some WuShu and traumatic injury recovery related stuff, so my mom was slightly familiar with these concepts... I followed my mom to her acupuncture appointment when I was maybe five?
It all began with my earlier experience with my liver issues. My mom took me to chinese herbal doctor for those nasty herbal drinks and I pretty much grew up with these concepts since kindergarten.
And then, I wasn’t feeling well in high school, and after having my daughter in my 20s, so I sought out Traditional Chinese Medicine again. I figured that learning holistic theory could help me take better care of myself and my family. Until I realize it's a rabbit hole I’ve dug into.......

Special thanks to Toronto Longevity group who came to my home and provided me with Reiki energy work when I was pregnant in 2012. They've broadened my view and experience on energy work. I have been meditating Reiki Chakras since, I do it for my own but this has certainly broaden my senses over the years.

Why Astrology?

At a very young age, I experienced depression, wondering, “Why me?” Every kid around me was healthy—I have liver cirrhosis. Why me? I grew up as a science kid, pushing away intuitions and anything even slightly superstitious, believing only in concrete, solid science. But I was experiencing a problem that medicines cannot fix. I made it through that stage, crediting my willpower to survive and to stay positive, because a liver transplant wasn’t an option until the rest of my body fell apart.

Fast forward to the years of illness, giving birth to two preemies, and going through a separation—these experiences made me realize that life isn’t just cause-and-effect, though cause-and-effect does play a big role. Why did my children have to endure so many illnesses and surgeries too? I began exploring life patterns, destiny, fate, soul lessons, and more. Astrology has helped me understand how to navigate life without falling into pity, sadness, shame, self-blaming or other negative emotions. While struggling to deal with my daughter's illness, I use meditation to guide my mind into calmness.

Life is life. Play it well, I can still make it right. Eventually that whole body, mind, and soul practice makes sense-- yoga and meditate about life, mind, body, and soul.

Why Hypnosis?

It was an accident—an accident brought together by fate. I was going through family issues and dealing with my daughter’s seizures, and I needed meditation and inner peace to calm my mind. As my meditation skills developed, I started integrating them into my acupuncture sessions with patients, and guiding them to the way I relax my mind.

>>> An unforeseen transformation has emerged.

Kelly has awakened a psychic, mediumistic connection.

No, Kelly does not connect to deceased. It's an area that Kelly would not interfere.

Incidentally, I began to hear and feel my patients’ subconsciousness. During my stress-relief and anxiety sessions, all of my patients fall lucid-asleep, and many say they feel as though they’ve been taken somewhere. That’s when I realized I had been unintentionally tapping into hypnosis. Through the practice of acupuncture and the expansion of the energy spectrum through hypnosis, occasionally I heard their subconscious talking. I heard messages. Then I knew I needed to learn proper methods and deepen my understanding of hypnosis and the quantum realm.

Kelly invites you to gather on spiritual ground to experience, consult, and explore the workings of the mind together.

Most valuable lessons in life

Liver issues started me on this health awareness journey in grade eleven.
Liver issues had brought me some very eventful pregnancies.
My Kids were born prematurely at 29wk and 30wk.

Child A was born with an issue relating to my medical history. After undergoing a surgery, Child A also lives without gall bladder since infancy like her mother--- me. Child A grows up to be a very beautiful young lady, currently at age 13, with some permanent brain atrophy, ASD, ADHD, seizure, dormant lupus, and will require ongoing specialized care. A is still charmingly cute and wonderful. Child B is a healthy and happy boy. He was born with a perforation in the intestines and resolved. B has also inherited mild ADHD and ASD.

So... That being said, my life experience with illnesses, battling chronic issues, for myself and my family, they fuel my medical knowledge and background, covering both western and chinese medicines theories.

Through the help in psychotherapy, the failure of my marriage led me to explore my inner child, my childhood wounds, and the story of my loneliness and fear. My marriage ultimately taught me to stop abandoning myself, to love and to recognize, to honor, and to protect my own worth.

Since the onset of my daughter's seizure, I meditate more frequently. I’ve gradually become more mentally steady—calmer, more grounded, and able to remain neutral. I trust that everything will work out just as it should. I learn to go with the flow, believing that whatever happens ultimately serves the highest good of our souls. Each little thing makes my journey more knowledgeable, more insightful, and more mindful.

How I have become who I am today?!

I just go with the flow.

I am not a fighter. I don't fight life.
